You’ll head out from Brathay Hall to cover this 43.1km route and 2450m of elevation. A steady start for 10km along the Cumbria Way, you’ll get site of the daunting Harrison Stickle, your first summit, as you approach.Climb steeply to Pavey Ark before taking on the mountain summits of Pike of Stickle, Esk Pike and Crinkle Crags. Topping out at Bowfell (902m), the 9th highest summit in England.After being rewarded with once in a lifetime views you’ll head back along the Cumbria Way for a flat finish.GPX File | Click map to enlarge
You’ll start your race from Brathay Hall by stunning Lake Windermere, then head out to cover 21.2km and 775m of elevation.The route passes by the beautiful Blelham Tarn, takes you to the summit of Latterbarrow and then winds you through mile after mile of perfect single track woodland.Enjoy 3km of uninterrupted lakeside running along Windermere before heading back to the finish line!
