The itinerary and duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather conditions and forecasts, water levels, special events of interest, etc. Trail Pursuit guides will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their guests without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk which could be caused by exceptional situations, and Trail Pursuit reserves the right to alter the itinerary accordingly.

Enjoy two nights in the Turrialba vista before heading down the river deeper into the jungle. Turrialba Vista offers private guest suites and casitas featuring a stunning view of Lake Angostura, and when the rainforest clouds cooperate, views of Turrialba Volcano.

After biking and trail running from Sitio de Mata, we’ll arrive at camp setup privately for our group. Prepare for a magical night under the stars as we draw closer to the stunning Pacuare River. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, gather around the campfire, and relax in comfy camp chairs, bringing everyone together for one of the trip's most memorable evenings.

Our Start & Finish Point for the trip is San José. Please book your flight separately. You'll then be transferred to our Hotel for the first evening, with time to relax ahead of a team briefing and welcome meal.
From hereon all transport in Costa Rica is provided by Trail Pursuit & you'll be transferred back to San José Airport on the final day. You can also arrive earlier / stay longer if you wish!
There are regular flights to Juan Santamaría International Airport, San José from major airports across the UK, Europe and the US. Including British Airways and American Airlines.
You are welcome to arrive a day early & make your way back to the airport pickup if that is preferable.

Passport validity requirements
Your passport must have an ‘expiry date’ at least 1 day after the day you plan to leave Costa Rica. Renew your passport if you need to. You will be denied entry if you do not have a valid travel document or try to use a passport that has been reported lost or stolen.
Visa requirements
British nationals do not need a visa to enter Costa Rica. You may stay as a visitor for up to 180 days under a tourist visa waiver, although the exact period is at the discretion of the immigration officer on arrival.
Airport tax
When leaving the country by air, you may need to pay a departure tax of 29 US dollars. Most airlines include this in ticket prices. If you need to pay it, you can use cash or card.

Absolutely, you are welcome to arrive earlier & stay longer after the trip if you wish. Please meet us at San José Airport on arrival day between 9am-8pm for transfers to our hotel.
