SOLD OUT27-29 May 2022, join us as we venture to Gatesgarth Farm in the Buttermere Valley region in the Lake District National Park. Nestled in the depths of a valley, this remote spot is the ideal playground for our trail race festival with direct access to the fells & surrounding idyllic countryside with lakes for a dip & refreshing soaks under waterfalls. Choose from Mountain Marathon, Trail Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids 1 mile distances. Please note: - this is a basic campsite - fresh water tap & portaloos onsite - no electrical hookups available - no fire pits allowed We have x2 options when booking your race! 1) Book your Race & Festival Ticket (WITH CAMPING) 2) Book your Race & Festival Ticket (WITHOUT CAMPING) Glamping: We are pleased to offer Classic & Luxury Bell Tents. Please book these separately at checkout (2/4/6 person glamping available). No pets allowed inside.

Yes. Trail Pursuit is inclusive for beginner & experienced trail runners alike. However, for the mountain marathon we recommend you have adequate fell running & mountain experience under your belt as there are challenging technical parts.
A mix of terrain including hard packed trails, rocky elevated fells & bridleways ways, taking in panoramic views of the Lake District!
No, all routes are fully marked & marshalled so you can focus on the epic trail running.

Yes. All individual entrants for 5K through to marathon must be aged 17 or over. This is to comply with UK Athletics guidance. For the Kids 1 Mile race any age between 5 - 12 years old.
Absolutely! Sharing the experience is fully encouraged.

You can enter the festival site across the weekend however, cannot stay on-site.
Yes, please do this before the cut off date 30 days before the event. This is to ensure administration, timing & logistics are taken care of.
Absolutely. There are two ways to run for charity: sign up and then run for your chosen charity or in some cases charities have bought bundles of tickets in advance and will be advertising on their own website.

Kids 1 mile: 14:00
NB: An official warm up will take place approximately 15 minutes before the start of each race.
Everyone crossing the finish line will receive a Trail Pursuit: Lake District medal for the distance they have completed. These will be given out in the finish funnel area by one of our amazing community groups.
Kids 1 mile, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon & Mountain Marathon races have a range of prizes from our very generous sponsors. Prizes are provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (Male/Female)
You will receive a confirmation via email after you purchase your ticket.
Our qualified yoga, breathwork & navigation teachers will lead sessions across the weekend. Exact times to be confirmed.
Included in your RACE + FESTIVAL + CAMPING ticket is x2 nights camping At Seathwaite Farm, Friday - Sunday.
Please bring your own tent & camping gear.
Yes, you're welcome to bring your camper! Please purchase your Campervan Pass separately at checkout.
Want to run & stay in your campervan? Choose RACE & FESTIVAL Ticket & also add the Campervan Pass.
Campervans will park in a separate field.
We are canicross friendly! Please ensure your dog is at least 1 year of age & confident around other dogs & humans. We kindly ask you keep them on a lead throughout & please pickup & dispose of their poop!
If Trail Pursuit races are cancelled for any reason, you will be credited to a re-scheduled date or deferred to the following year.
